What led you to become a doctor or choose your focus of medicine?
Gastroenterology is uniquely fascinating to me as it uses both the mind and hands to diagnose and treat patients.

What about your line of work do you find most rewarding and why?
I find being able to help people when they are in need and make them feel better and healthier is the most rewarding.

What is something about you that only your patients would know?
Every patient is like family to me.

Caring, Compassionate and Dependable

What's your proudest moment as a doctor?
Every time I make a patient feel better.

In your opinion, what's the most important factor in a doctor-patient relationship?
Working together.

What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?
Thorough, compassionate and competent care until they feel better.

What do you find most encouraging about the work you do?
I find that being able to use my education and skills to help a patient improve their quality of life/health the most encouraging about my work.

What are your top priorities with every patient you see?
To make sure they understand their diagnosis and treatment plan options.

Describe one of the top ways you ensure each patient receives the quality, personal health care he/she deserves.
I take as much time as needed with each one of them to make sure they understand their GI health.

I am always open and working on ways to improve myself and my care to patients.
