Meet your Doctor
How do you provide quality, personal health care to our patients?
I treat all my patients equally, regardless of walk of life. I have been known to cheerlead them when they need it most and provide humor to lighten things up from time to time. I make sure to spend time with my patients and do extra research after hours to make sure they get the best care possible.
What led you to become a doctor?
Becoming a physician was a childhood dream for me.
What about being a doctor do you find most rewarding?
Making a difference in people's lives is incredibly rewarding.
How would a patient describe you?
Probably very honest and direct. It's important to me that I hold patients accountable for their health and empower them to impact it.
What's your proudest moment as a doctor?
Serving my country in Iraq and caring for our troops and those who did not come home.
What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?
They can expect that I will listen to them and that my goal is to make them better.
Patient Stories
I have gone through six physicians over the past 14 years. During this time I have hand to manage my own medical care because I am considered to be too medically complex. Upon meeting him, Dr. Taylor challenged me to give him a chance. I did, with reservations. Dr Taylor proved to be genuinely interested in my health care and worked with me to address each one of my conditions and followed up on all tests and treatments to the point if any test was abnormal, he personally called to discuss the results and a treatment plan after hours. I personally know he will work for and with all his patients as hard as he did for this old salt. As they say, he IS the real deal.
I had the privilege of also working under Dr. Taylor both at Naval Hospital Pensacola and overseas. He is an excellent physician and has been a role model for medical students such as myself. I hope to provide the same standard of care to my patients that Dr. Taylor provides.
I am currently a patient of Dr. Taylor & all I can say is that I am willing to change my insurance company in order not to lose him as my primary care physician. He always walks in the room with a smile on his face & that puts one on my mine (I believe that is part of his healing process). Not all doctors are aware of that. He is also genuinenly interested in how you are feeling and/or how he can make it better. You too would be lucky to have him as your family doctor!
I had the privilege and honor to serve with Dr. Taylor on two deployments. He always went above and beyond to help his patients, he is the best. For anyone looking for a physician, look no further.
