Meet Your Provider

What led you to become a provider or choose your focus of medicine?
I’ve always had a love for medicine and a strong desire to help people. Becoming a provider allows me to follow both interests in one setting.

What about your line of work do you find most rewarding and why?
The most rewarding part of what I do is developing a lasting relationship with patients and knowing that I’ve helped improve the quality of their life which allows them the opportunity to enjoy it.

What is something about you that only your patients would know?
I enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level, which allows me to care for them more holistically and work with them to develop treatment plans that work for their everyday life.

How would a patient describe you?
Patients would describe me as being easy to talk to, understanding and compassionate.

What’s your proudest moment as a provider?
My proudest moments as a provider range from a patient being happy with the outcome of their visit to catching and treating a life-threatening condition.

In your opinion, what’s the most important factor in a provider -patient relationship?
I think the most important factor is mutual trust and respect.

What can a patient expect when they have you as a provider?
Patients can expect that I will listen to them and address all of their needs. I also will work with them to develop a treatment plan that will best accommodate their lifestyle, but also ensures a good outcome.

What do you find most encouraging about the work you do?
The most encouraging thing for me is seeing a patient’s quality of life improve and knowing that I had an impact on it.

What are your top priorities with every patient you see?
My top priority with patients is taking the time to develop a relationship with mutual trust and open communication, while capturing a detailed picture of what their current symptoms seem to be.

Describe one of the top ways you ensure each patient receives the quality, personal health care he/she deserves.
When I am with a patient, they have my undivided attention to ensure that we address all of their needs and work together to reach their health goals.

Is there anything more or extra you would like prospective patients to know about you?
I just want patients to know that their safety and well-being is of the utmost importance to me and that I am here to help them feel their best.

Do you have any specific medical interests?
I like a little bit of everything which is why I really enjoy the variety of family medicine, and I love pediatrics.
