What led you to become a doctor or choose your focus of medicine?
I was inspired by my grandfather who was a cardiologist. He helped and treated underserved communities.

What about your line of work do you find most rewarding and why?
I love to figure out complex cases. I love helping patients go home with a smile.

I explain and repeat everything.

How would a patient describe you?
Patients find me very friendly and understanding.

What’s your proudest moment as a doctor?
When people actually understand their disease and understand how to prevent hospitalization.

In your opinion, what’s the most important factor in a doctor-patient relationship?
The most important factor is having trust and honesty.

What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?
They will leave with clear instruction on their disease process as well as preventing or reducing risks of complication.

What are your top priorities with every patient you see?
Preventative medicine
