Walk-In Care

What is Walk-in Care?

Walk-in care is convenient and professional health care for conditions that require quick medical attention but are not life threatening. Urgent care is often referred to as walk-in care simply because patients can walk in and receive care without an appointment.

Walk-in Care is appropriate for injuries not severe enough to require treatment in a hospital emergency department. When your primary-care physician is not available, think of urgent care for general illnesses or minor injuries such as flu, colds, sore throats, fever, upset stomachs, ear infections or sprains.
